The Selous Game Reserve is one of the largest fauna reserves of the world, located in the south of Tanzania. It was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Beho Beho in this territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during World War I.
Day 1 : ZANZIBAR - Dar Es Salaam - Selous.
Pick up from your hotel in ZANZIBAR and drive to the ferry to catch 0700 am a ferry to Zanzibar which will take 2 hours. On arrival we will start safari to Selous, the drive will take 5 hours to arrive Selous in the afternoon, check-in and proceed
for a Game drive, dinner and overnight at Kinga lodge is located outside the Game reserve and on the river bank – Rufiji river, dinner
under the stars.

Day 2: Selous Game Drive.
After breakfast with picnic lunch, the clients will depart the camp for a full day game drive in the Selous GR, here you will get a chance to explore Selous with its cool and promising environment for animals the possibility to see Lions/Giraffe/Elephants just to mention a few.
After the game drive, the clients will depart the GR and return to the camp at 1500 hours then depart for boat safari before dinner and overnight
at Kinga lodge
Meals included: Breakfast/Lunch /Dinner.
DAY 3: Depart Selous GR to Dar es Salaam.
Early morning after breakfast, the clients will depart for walking safari for one hour before heading back to Dar es salaam, the drive back to Dar es salaam will take again -5 hours. Arrive in Dar es salaam and transfer the clients to Ferry to catch ferry at 1600 to Zanzibar.
